Many veteran cars and farm vehicles, their working lives over, have simply been driven deep into the harsh Karoo region of South Africa and abandoned. Some have lain there for 50 years or more and, long exposed to the extreme conditions of the area, have finally given up their original colours and blend gently into the natural landscape of the dry, arid region that is their final resting place. |
